Soccer Villa

On a generous site at the base of a mountain, FR-EE was invited to design a weekend house overlooking a soccer pitch that multiple families could use as a clubhouse. The concept began with the idea of having a large structure that hovers above the house. This wooden surface presents a floating illusion while acting as a green roof that captures rainwater. A rational plan creates generous interior spaces that accommodate events for many guests.

The house contains a living room, dining room, play area, movie projection room, spa, kitchen and a vast terrace where one can watch and admire one of the owner’s biggest passions: soccer, the national sport of Mexico.
